the more you become an expert about anything the less you can enjoy it

if you become an expert in music i dont think you can enjoy pop music

if you become an author it is a lot harder to enjoy other books in the same way

if you become a professional sportsperson it is a lot harder to do the sport casually

i now think this is not true

sure it is true in some cases

but actually becoming an expert in something can allow you to enjoy it even more.
