How to get A*/A in English Lit
1) read more, if you can
2) go to lessons
3) find resources online for the books you are studying and collect the best points from these
4) create a list of the best points you have on each book and collect into paragraphs you could write if the right question came up
5) practice essays - which hopefully your teacher marks, and work on improving exam technique
6)condense aforementioned paragraphs down to key words for each paragraph
7)remember all the words before exam and make sure for each word you can basically recite the paragraph
8) when you get into the exam write down the list of words
7) stay calm in the exam and most importantly take your time
- this means making sure to take the time to plan
8) when planning answer the question and see if there is a chance to add in a paragraph which is pre prepared and therefore which you know is good
- if you do manage to find a way to do this look back to the question frequently to make sure you are tailoring the paragraph to the question
