 the more you become an expert about anything the less you can enjoy it if you become an expert in music i dont think you can enjoy pop music if you become an author it is a lot harder to enjoy other books in the same way if you become a professional sportsperson it is a lot harder to do the sport casually i now think this is not true sure it is true in some cases  but actually becoming an expert in something can allow you to enjoy it even more.

 sport is a brutal world because to be the best you need to think you are the best but every time you dont win that worldview (you thinking youre the best) is attacked only the very mental tough, or way disillusioned keep thinking they're the best
